Tear out of rotted porch floor and building
of new joists and sub-floor
We had to tear out the cracked tile in the sunroom which had
been installed over the top of an old deck. Then everything had to be built up
and leveled. We installed new sub-floor and fiberboard in preparation for new
tile to be installed.

Repair to wall due to water damage
This wall was torn out down to studs on interior and exterior by
the plumber who repaired the pipe. We then replaced the interior drywall then
replaced the T1-11 sheeting, added Tyvek wrap and installed new cedar siding.

Interior Stairs
We removed the carpet from the existing stairs and then replaced
the old steps by recycling an old pine bookcase that was in the basement, then
completed the job with a new finish.

Replacement of Sagging Ceiling
This turn of the century ceiling had started to sag. We removed
the old ceiling tiles, re-supported the existing ceiling joists, then put in new
insulation, new drywall and finished off with 1x4 stained pine to match the
existing trim.

The major remodeling project includes repairs and improvements to the

Cedar Wrap Around Deck
This house was updated with extended decks and latticework
beneath. A new ramp was added in front of the shed along with a new front deck.

Patio Pergola
The old pergola was mounted incorrectly to the fascia of the
garage and the beams had pulled on the fascia and warped.

The new pergola was built from cedar with 6x6 support posts
secured to 8 inch concrete columns 36 inches deep.

New Deck Supports
Deck supports for this deck were not up to code and did not
provide adequate support. We built a new support system while retaining the
existing deck.

New Deck Steps
This old deck had steps that rotted through along with some
rotted wood joists underneath. All the rotted wood was torn out and new steps
were built.

Custom Patio and Storage Shed
 |
This project included pouring concrete to create a
foundation for a new garden shed. The shed was then constructed out of 2x4s and
exterior plywood siding. A drainage system and a new retaining wall were
installed to complete the project

Interior
and Exterior Doors
Do It Right renovated this entire home in 2010 and it needed new
doors to complete the look. It also needed a new drywall ceiling in the family
room. We installed four new pine interior doors and a new hem fir exterior door
and reinstalled the log molding to match the window trim.
